Sonshine Christian School’s mission is to work together with families, providing a high-quality, individualized, Christian education that prepares children physically, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually, to impact their world for Christ.
Located in Vancouver, Washington, at Living Hope Church, we provide “hands-on” learning experiences in our preschool, full-day kindergarten, and elementary school (K – 8th Grades). Your child will grow spiritually by the integration of God in subject areas, prayer, and chapel.
Our facilities provide growth and maturity physically by providing gym time, playground time, and P.E. classes for elementary students…your child will grow emotionally in their relationships with peers and teachers. With small class sizes and an emphasis on project based learning, stem, and social-emotional learning, students at Sonshine Christian School are provided with an individualized instruction that prepares them to impact their world! Sonshine 6th through 8th Grade students participate in Project Based Learning throughout the school year, allowing students to learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects.

Sonshine’s Program is Expanding!
Sonshine Christian School and Early Learning Center will be offering care and classes for ages 12 months through eighth grade for the 24-25 school year at our home at Living Hope Church! The elemntary school will also be offering a NEW Transitional Kindergarten class for 4 year olds who are ready for more structure! God has performed some amazing miracles and we are excited to be able to not only provide a wonderful Christian education but to also be able to partner with Living Hope on many special events throughout the year.
We have completed a brand new playground this year and are are schedule to complete a remodel of a portion of Living Hope’s building for our Early Learning Center by April 1st, 2024. The remodel will provide classrooms, indoor/outdoor play areas, and a kitchen. We are looking forward to having an amazing school year with field trips, project based learning, special programs, and more! The Early Learning Center will be moving into their new space once the remodel is completed. At this time the Early Learning Center will begin adding more staff and children and will eventually be able to provide care from 6 weeks to school age. The Early Learning Center also accepts state pay.
