Sonshine Christian School’s Campaign to
Be a Light for God’s Children
Learning and Growing
in Christ
The early learning center began serving families as a daycare 30 years ago. To extend its impact and serve children into school age, Sonshine established the elementary school by adding a grade at a time, beginning in 2012. The middle school was added in 2022.
Sonshine Christian School aims to serve
all children regardless of their abilities.
We serve all families regardless of their financial status.
We accept state pay and provide financial assistance to
qualified families.
79%of families receive financial assistance
“I have no greater joy
than to hear that my
children are walking in
the truth.” 3 John 1:4
Our mission is to work together with families, providing
a high-quality, individualized, Christian education that
prepares children physically, spiritually, emotionally,
and intellectually, to impact their world for Christ
A Light for
God’s Children
At Sonshine Christian School and Early
Learning Center, our goal is that children
and families grow in knowing God, in the
pursuit of excellence in education

before others, that they
may see your good
deeds and glorify your
Father in heaven.”

Our Campaign
To serve 68 children in our Early Learning Center we need to remodel 20,000 square feet of Living Hope Church from an auto shop to a welcoming, safe educational environment.
This renovation will provide:
- 4 classrooms for hands-on, experiential, age
appropriate learning - Gymnasium for physical movement
- Commercial kitchen to provide nutritious meals and
snacks - Indoor/outdoor play space for movement and
imaginative play - 3 outdoor play areas with age appropriate equipment
Creating a space at Living Hope Church for the Early Learning
Center will allow it to once again be housed alongside Sonshine
Christian School and provide a seamless continuum of Christian
education through middle school.
To provide high-quality educational experiences in a scripture-based environment, Sonshine Early Learning Center invests in teachers and support staff that exhibit and model Christian values.
You can help Sonshine Christian School Be a Light for God's Children by supporting our Ignited By Faith campaign. Every gift is appreciated.
