Sonshine Christian Elementary staff, students, and families kicked off the school year with a Back to School Barbecue! The next week school started and Sonshine welcomed back many new and former students and their families. Last week we participate in Give More 24 for the first time and were able to raise close to $4,000.00 in just 24 hours! Thanks to our Parent Teacher League for heading this up and thanks especially to Jennifer Wong for coordinating this event. The next event at Sonshine is our Grandparent’s Day on Friday, October 13th, from 8:30 AM – 11:30 PM. All grandparents or special aunts, uncles, or adult friends are welcome to attend school with their favorite student on this day. The grandparents will be treated to a continental breakfast and the chance to spend the morning with their grandchild. Thank you for supporting Sonshine Christian Elementary School!
